Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Structural Design Technician to support the Advanced Manufacturing Data Centers team in the United States. You will develop structural drawings, coordinate systems, and help produce construction documents for hyperscale data center projects.

The role uses 2D drafting and BIM tools, including Revit, and may involve leading a small design package. Hybrid work models and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across the U.S. are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years drafting/design experience in the structural field.
• At least 1 year of Revit.
• At least 3 years AutoCAD design experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update structural drawings and models for data center projects.
• Coordinate building systems and existing conditions.
• Help produce clear, accurate construction documents.
• Contribute to foundations, structural framing, and equipment support.
• Use 2D drafting and BIM tools (Revit) for project coordination and QA.
