Job summary

Hazen and Sawyer's Detroit, MI office is seeking a Structural CAD/BIM Designer to develop Revit models and contract drawings for water and wastewater projects. You will work under senior staff, follow CAD-BIM standards, and coordinate with process, mechanical, and architectural teams in a hybrid setting.

Candidates should have 2–6 years of AutoCAD 2D or Revit experience; a bachelor’s or associate degree in engineering design or drafting is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of AutoCAD 2D or Autodesk Revit experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or associate degree in an education program with focus in Engineering design, drafting, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under direction of senior staff, develop structural Revit models, families, and contract documents.
• Learn and follow project CAD-BIM standards, discipline guidelines and instructions from engineers and/or other design staff to produce contract drawings.
• Coordinate structural Revit models and contract drawings with other disciplines to avoid interferences including use of clash detention software.
