Job summary

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a Structural CAD/BIM Designer for our Cleveland, OH office. You will develop structural Revit models, families, and contract documents under the guidance of senior staff, coordinating with disciplines to avoid conflicts.

Qualifications

• 2-6 years of AutoCAD 2D or Autodesk Revit experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or associate degree in an education program with focus in Engineering design, drafting, or related field preferred.
• Basic proficiency of AutoCAD/Civil 3D would be advantageous.
• Basic understanding of structural steel and concrete systems would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Under direction of senior staff, develop structural Revit models, families, and contract documents.
• Learn and follow project CAD-BIM standards, discipline guidelines and instructions from engineers and/or other design staff to produce contract drawings.
• Coordinate structural Revit models and contract drawings with other disciplines (process mechanical, electrical, architectural, HVAC, etc.) to avoid interferences including use of clash detention software.
