Job summary

This Structural - Bridge Project Manager role is a hybrid position with office in Chicago, IL and remote work options, offering a competitive compensation range of $130,000–$175,000 USD per year.

You will direct project teams on transportation projects, mentor engineers, manage budgets, and ensure quality through all design and execution stages.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering (Structural) required; M.S. Degree preferred.
• PE License required; SE License in IL preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in roadway bridge design with management experience preferred.
• IDOT, ISTHA and CDOT experience preferred; Chicago-area counties desirable.
• Excellent communication, client relations skills and ability to work with stakeholders.
• Strong organization and leadership skills; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects with cost control, budgets, and QA/QC.
• Direct budgeting and execution including supervision of staff and subcontractors.
• Mentor developing structural engineers and advance technical skills.
• Contribute to structural design as reviewer or advisor.
• Adhere to internal quality procedures and project documentation.
• Support business development including SOQs, proposals, and contracts.
