Hueman partner is seeking a Purchasing Manager to lead procurement and vendor management for a growing multi-location garage door installation and service company in Gainesville, VA (hybrid with weekly in-office).

You will own company-wide purchasing policies, negotiate with vendors, analyze spending, and coordinate with branches to ensure material availability and cost savings. Experience in construction, installation, or field service is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or vendor management experience.
• Experience in a multi-location, construction, installation, distribution, field service, or home services.
• Proven ability to negotiate vendor agreements and deliver measurable cost savings.

Responsabilités

• Own Company-wide purchasing policies, procedures, controls, and approval requirements.
• Manage strategic vendor relationships and negotiate pricing, rebates, payment terms, freight, lead times, warranties, and service expectations.
• Analyze organizational spending and identify opportunities to reduce costs, consolidate vendors, and improve purchasing leverage.
• Oversee purchasing for custom materials, stocked products, service parts, equipment, supplies, and indirect services.
• Partner with branch, warehouse, service, sales, and operations teams to ensure materials are available when needed.
• Support inventory planning, stocking levels, warehouse transfers, and the reduction of excess or obsolete inventory.
• Develop vendor scorecards and track savings, delivery performance, quality, fill rates, and service levels.
