Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Commodity Manager to develop enterprise-wide commodity strategies for direct materials and lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives. This role partners with PLM, Engineering, Quality, and Operations to support NPI and lifecycle management.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years in procurement or supply chain, strong cost modeling skills, and proven experience in global supplier management and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or related field and equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of related procurement or supply chain experience preferred.
• Experience building commodity strategies end-to-end and driving cost outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise-wide commodity strategies for direct materials.
• Lead supplier negotiations, sourcing events and contracting decisions.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with PLM, Engineering, Quality, and Operations on NPI and lifecycle mgmt.
• Ensure compliance with sourcing strategies across partners and regions.
