Job summary

Marsh is seeking a Senior Proposal Specialist to join our Strategic Bid Center. This hybrid role requires three days in the office and is based in one of our US office locations.

You will lead RFP/bid/tender responses from inception to submission, shaping strategy, developing persuasive content, producing polished documents and supporting client presentations. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in marketing or related fields, strong writing/editing skills, PM capabilities, and APMP or comparable

Qualifications

• BA/BS in business, journalism, marketing, English or PR.
• Minimum of 5 years in marketing, sales or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams
• Strong PM, writing, editing skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and shifting priorities
• Close attention to detail without losing the bigger picture
• Comfort with ambiguity and frequent change
• Collaborative and receptive to feedback

Responsibilities

• Writes persuasive proposal/presentation content and executive summaries.
• Reviews RFPs for complete understanding of submission requirements.
• Identifies major strategic opportunities within proposals.
• Facilitates opportunity strategy formulation with client managers/consulting team.
• Determines research needs and delegates as appropriate.
• Identifies internal contacts for information requests.
• Collaborates with design team on storyboarding and design reviews.
• Manages proposal/presentation development for varied project sizes.
• Thrives in an environment embracing AI and technology-enabled tools.
