Job summary

Merck's Future Talent Program offers 10-12 week internships in the BARDS division, where interns contribute to statistical programming for analysis datasets, tables, listings, and graphics for drug and vaccine development.

As an intern, you will collaborate with scientists and a senior programmer, gain hands-on experience, and learn new programming techniques in a hybrid, full-time setting starting June 2027.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a student with ≥2 MS semesters completed by May 2027.
• Available for full-time hybrid internship for 10–12 weeks starting June 2027.
• Data analysis experience and programming skills.
• Willingness to learn programming languages and techniques.
• Ability to collaborate on a team and complete tasks on time.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute statistical analyses and reporting deliverables under guidance of a senior programmer.
• Assist in delivering analysis datasets, tables, listings, and graphics for clinical trial data.
• Support BARDS activities across therapeutic areas and drug development programs.
