Job summary

Merck’s Future Talent Program offers a summer internship in Health Economics and Data Sciences (HEDS) within BARDS. The position spans 10–12 weeks (May/June 2027) and includes projects aimed at economic evaluation and submission readiness, with a focus on teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.

Eligible candidates are enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program in a science-related field and must be able to work full-time in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in a science-related discipline.
• Available to work full-time in hybrid capacity for 10-12 weeks beginning in May or June of 2027.

Responsibilities

• Support HEDS quality assurance tests for budget impact and cost-effectiveness models.
• Assist data standardization and collection to support economic models.
• Develop tools to improve QA, planning, and submission readiness.
• Support benchmarking and prepare capstone presentations of internship activities.
