Job summary

Merck's Future Talent Program offers 10-12 week summer internships in the Health Economics and Data Sciences (HEDS) division, part of BARDS within Research Laboratories. Interns participate in projects that support economic modeling, evidence generation, and submissions to health technology assessments.

Applicants must be enrolled in a Master's or PhD program in a science field and be able to work full-time in a hybrid capacity from May or June 2027 for 10-12 weeks.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Master's or PhD program in a science-related discipline.
• Available for full-time hybrid work for 10-12 weeks starting May or June 2027.

Responsibilities

• Support quality assurance tests for budget impact and cost-effectiveness models.
• Assist in systematic data standardization and data collection for economic models.
• Develop tools to enhance QA, planning and submission readiness.
• Support benchmarking activities and prepare a capstone presentation.
