Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years in the life insurance or reinsurance industry.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. Statutory and GAAP accounting applicable to insurance and reinsurance companies.
• Big 4 public accounting experience or a combination of public and private experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the accounting team, providing clear direction aligned with company objectives.
• Oversee quarterly and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy of reporting.
• Provide leadership in accounting for life, annuity, and reinsurance transactions.
• Maintain robust internal control framework and conduct audits.
