Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Knowledge of basic accounting procedures and General Ledger (GL) functions in a corporate setting.
• Hands-on experience performing account reconciliations and participating in corporate month-end close cycles or 1–2 years at a public accounting firm.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and internal controls concepts (public company environment a plus).
• Advanced proficiency in Excel with ability to analyze large financial datasets.
• Exceptional accuracy and proactive analytical problem-solving.
• Ability to work in a global, team-oriented, hybrid environment.
• Familiarity with AI tools to automate routine tasks is a plus.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion or other Oracle products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Extract, analyze, and manipulate data to propose accurate GL journal entries.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations with ledger integrity and investigate variances.
• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close tasks with cross-region collaboration.
• Prepare variance explanations and financial metric reports for management.
• Document and improve accounting workflows and internal controls.
• Liaise with GL Accounting, Finance, and Operations to streamline the close process.
• Assist in providing support for external audits to ensure US GAAP & SOX compliance.
• Handle ad-hoc accounting tasks and strategic projects as needed.
