Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking a Staff Accountant for a Seattle-area client on a temporary basis. You will support a busy accounting team with journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close while enjoying a hybrid schedule (three days in the office, two days remote).

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and at least two years of hands-on accounting experience, with GAAP knowledge and basic Excel/ERP skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• At least two years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Experience with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Working knowledge of GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Complete account reconciliations.
• Research transactions and resolve discrepancies.
• Support month-end close and reporting.
• Prepare accounting reports and supporting documentation.
• Work with Excel and ERP system.
