The ideal candidate holds a degree in accounting or finance and has 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and advanced Excel skills. This role offers a hybrid schedule with three days in the office and two days remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices
• Experience preparing financial reports and supporting audits
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account analyses
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
• Lead and support month-end close activities
• Assist with financial reporting and supporting schedules
• Research accounting issues and resolve discrepancies
• Analyze financial data and identify process improvement opportunities
• Support audit requests and ensure documentation is complete and accurate
• Utilize Excel and ERP systems to manage and maintain financial records
• Partner with cross-functional teams on special projects and ad hoc reporting
