ShiftKey in Irving, TX is hiring a Staff Accountant I to own a significant portion of the month-end close, with emphasis on SaaS subscription accounting and marketplace billing. The role offers training with real responsibility early on and a small, fast-moving team environment.

You will work a hybrid schedule from our Irving head office, with a standard 9 AM–5 PM day and a mix of in-office and remote days. You’ll need a strong foundation in accounting and advanced Excel to succeed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter with deadlines and ownership.

Responsabilités

• Prepare monthly journal entries and reconciliations.
• Own SaaS accounting operations and close processes.
• Support marketplace billing, credits, and reconciliations.
• Help design accounting processes for faster reporting.
• Write and update SOPs for recurring tasks and deadlines.
• Assist external auditors during annual review.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses for audit, tax, and due diligence.
