DJA CPAs, S.C. in Waukesha, WI is looking for a Staff Accountant to join our growing team. You'll work on client engagements including preparation of accounting work papers for compiled, reviewed, and audited financial statements, and prepare tax returns for corporate, partnership, and individuals under Senior Accountant guidance.

You will gain exposure to varied tasks and have opportunities for career progression within our firm. This is a hybrid role with onsite and remote work options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required.
• CPA certification (or working toward) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn accounting and income tax techniques under Senior Accountant supervision.
• Prepare accounting work papers supporting compiled, reviewed, and audited financial statements.
• Prepare corporate, partnership, and individual income tax returns.
• Interact with Senior & Manager level personnel to gather information and recommend improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
