Job summary

Boats Group is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant in Miami, FL to join our US Accounting team. You will assist in month-end close, prepare journal entries and financial statements, and ensure GAAP compliance while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll investigate discrepancies, prepare reconciliations, and participate in annual audits, with a hybrid work model and a path toward broader finance responsibilities in a growing organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Accounting and 2+ years of relevant financial experience (incl. internships)
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems
• Superior Excel and communication skills for diverse audiences
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
• CPA preferred; hybrid work with Brickell office Tue-Thu every other week; relocation not offered

Responsibilities

• Assist in month-end close; prepare GL journal entries and financial statements
• Investigate accounting discrepancies and supply solutions
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations with proper documentation
• Participate in annual audit and regulatory reporting
• Implement process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency
