Job summary

Highspring LLC (d/b/a Vaco by Highspring) is seeking a Staff Accountant in a hybrid role in Mount Laurel, NJ to blend traditional accounting with broader finance and analytical support.

The successful candidate will maintain the general ledger, post journal entries, assist with month-end close, budgeting and forecasting, and provide financial analysis to the Manager of Strategy & Finance in a flexible hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience in a Staff Accountant or similar accounting role.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze financial information and identify discrepancies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support the general ledger, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
• Support financial reporting and analysis.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and other finance-related projects.
• Analyze financial information and provide support to the Manager of Strategy & Finance.
• Help maintain accurate financial records and ensure accounting policies and procedures are followed.
• Assist with ad hoc accounting and finance projects as needed.
