Job summary

Gaven Industries, Inc. seeks a detail‑oriented Staff Accountant to support day‑to‑day financial activities in our PA HQ. The role covers A/R, A/P, payroll support, project invoicing, and maintaining records to support audits.

You will collaborate with project teams and management to ensure timely billings, process expense reports, and handle tax and insurance coordination. A bachelor’s in accounting and at least two years of related experience are required; hybrid scheduling is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent work experience.
• 2 years of experience in similar role.
• Knowledge of A/R, A/P, and payroll processes a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manages accounts receivables and accounts payables.
• Assists weekly payroll process, which can include union and certified payrolls.
• Works with Project Management to ensure timely and accurate progress billings.
• On-board customers and co-manage credit limits and sales tax exemptions.
• Coordinates insurance requirements with customers when required.
• Assist with sales and use tax filings.Process weekly expense reports.
• Other duties as assigned.
