Job summary

MBA is seeking an accounting professional to support the Accounting and Finance Department with general ledger reconciliation, financial reporting, and audit support.

Under supervision, you will handle A/R and A/P processing, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, and journal entries while ensuring GAAP and company policy compliance. Compensation reflects a competitive range for the nonprofit sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• Minimum 2 years accounting operations experience.
• Nonprofit experience and sales/use tax knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts receivable and accounts payable batches.
• Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable sub-ledger.
• Generate monthly balance sheet reconciliations and prepare journal entries.
• Update fixed asset schedules and depreciation.
• Assist with annual audit and ad hoc reviews.
