Financial Center is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the Accounting Department in Indianapolis. The role requires coordinating daily workflows, assisting with budget and audit preparations, and maintaining fixed asset records, while improving processes across the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred.
• Minimum three years in financial institution bookkeeping or payment processing.
• Familiarity with Credit Union member account processing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily workflow in accounting to ensure timely postings.
• Assist with annual budget, auditor materials, quarterly Call Report, and CECL analysis.
• Maintain Fixed Asset and Prepaid databases; coordinate asset processing with departments.
• Provide training and mentorship to Accounting Specialists; contribute to performance reviews.
