Twist Bioscience Corporation seeks an experienced Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Manager for a hybrid role in South San Francisco. You will lead Site Operations, own cloud infrastructure, and drive reliability across production apps and services.

You will mentor engineers, advance automation, CI/CD, and IaC, and collaborate with product teams to optimize performance. The role emphasizes security, observability, and scalable architecture in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years in Site Operations or SRE roles.
• Experience leading engineering/operations teams.
• Hands-on with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and Kubernetes in production.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage Site Operations / SRE function.
• Own cloud infrastructure architecture, operations, scalability, and optimization.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of production apps and services.
• Drive automation, monitoring, and incident management.
• Develop observability platforms including logging, metrics, alerting, and tracing.
• Manage Kubernetes-based infrastructure and container orchestration.
• Oversee networking, DNS, CDN, and storage across clouds.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve deployment, resilience, and performance.
• Define CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Lead incident response and post-incident remediation.
• Mentor SRE engineers and foster reliability culture.
• Implement infrastructure security and compliance best practices.
