Job summary

Xometry seeks a Site Reliability Engineer II to join its SRE Organization. You will guide the reliability of infrastructure and software across multiple teams, building scalable, observable platforms that enable rapid and safe feature deployment for customers.

The role emphasizes ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement, with responsibilities spanning automation, monitoring, and platform maintenance in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in infrastructure management or backend development in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Python, JavaScript, or Unix Shell.
• Experience with AWS including deploying, monitoring, and scaling production workloads.
• Familiar with Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker.
• Comfortable in an on-call operational environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of assigned problem statements and drive them to completion with guidance from senior engineers.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while improving existing systems.
• Estimate timelines for features and tasks, balancing effort, risk, and impact.
• Collaborate across teams and communicate progress, blockers, and outcomes.
• Support team members and contribute to a positive, learning-oriented culture.
• Develop, configure, and maintain underlying platforms for deployed software (AWS, Kubernetes, networking).
• Develop, configure, and maintain observability tooling (Coralogix, Sentry).
• Develop, configure, and maintain CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions runners, ArgoCD).
