[HYBRID] Senior Controls Engineer (controls system integration exp. req.) Description
Our client, a project-based automation company, is looking for a Senior Controls Engineer to join their team in Indianapolis. You will be responsible for programming, debugging, and commissioning as well as electrical hardware design. Acting as the Lead Engineer on projects interfacing with customers and vendors, you will be working on PLCs, robotics, vision controllers, VFDs, Servos, Field IO wiring, etc. so you will benefit from a more diverse sandbox to play in. Because their office in Indiana has a smaller group of four engineers, you will have much more exposure and variation in your day-to-day. If you are looking for an opportunity that focuses more on one area that allows for more structure and routine, this wouldn’t be the right fit. However, if you are looking for more diversity and stability with a culture-focused company that doesn’t treat you like just another cog in the machine, this could be a strong match. With very limited overnight travel allowing you to be home almost every night, this is an excellent opportunity to work across a variety of industries without disrupting your work/life balance.
