Job summary

Vizient, Inc. is seeking a strategic leader to guide a Northeast Spend Management team, driving sourcing and spend optimization aligned with client priorities. You will collaborate with Spend Executives and senior leaders to deliver measurable value and ensure successful program implementation.

You will coach Spend Managers, develop training curricula, and own accountability for team performance and budget outcomes while traveling as needed to client sites and meetings.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant performance improvement or healthcare experience.
• Proven leadership with experience building high-performing teams.
• Strong executive presence with senior management interaction.
• Hybrid role with three days in office in Irving, TX or Chicago, IL.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing team of Spend Managers.
• Partner with Spend Executives and senior leaders to align client workplans.
• Implement Vizient’s strategic programs and optimize tools and resources.
• Coach Spend Managers on QBRs and articulate performance and strategies.
• Develop Spend Manager training curriculum and standard work.
• Own accountability for team performance, budget, and outcomes.
