Job summary

You will collaborate with Spend Executives and leaders, implement category strategies, and ensure delivery of client-focused programs while developing training curriculum and managing budgets.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree preferred.
• 10+ years of performance improvement, operations or healthcare-related experience.
• Proven leadership with building high-performing teams.
• Strong executive presence with senior management exposure.
• Excellent project management and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic, independent thinker aligned to client priorities.
• Hybrid role with 3 days/week in office (Irving, TX or Chicago, IL).
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing team of Spend Managers focused on solving client challenges.
• Partner with Spend Executives and senior leaders to align support with client workplans and drive client satisfaction.
• Ensure effective implementation of Vizient's strategic programs (e.g., Impact Standardization, Novaplus).
• Optimize use of Vizient tools, systems, and resources to maximize client value.
• Coach Spend Managers on QBRs to clearly articulate historical performance and future category strategies.
• Contribute to development of Spend Manager training curriculum and standard work.
