Job summary

Vizient is seeking a senior leader to guide a team of Spend Managers in the Northeast region, driving sourcing strategies and spend optimization to deliver measurable client value. You will collaborate with executives and stakeholders to implement category strategies and align with the Spend Management Delivery team and client priorities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant performance improvement or healthcare operations experience.
• Proven leadership of high-performing teams.
• Strong executive presence with experience presenting to senior management.
• Excellent project management, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Hybrid role with in-office three days per week in Irving, TX or Chicago, IL; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing team of Spend Managers.
• Partner with Spend Executives and senior leaders to align support with client workplans and drive client satisfaction.
• Ensure effective implementation of Vizient's programs (e.g., Impact Standardization, Novaplus).
• Optimize use of Vizient tools, systems, and resources to maximize client value.
• Coach Spend Managers on QBRs to articulate performance and future strategies.
• Contribute to Spend Manager training curriculum and know-how.
