Vizient, Inc. seeks a seasoned leader to head a high-performing sourcing function, developing client contracting strategies to reduce spend and maximize value. You will guide strategy, negotiations, and portfolio development across multiple stakeholders.

You will lead a team through complex negotiations, implement value-tracking, and drive continuous improvement in sourcing lifecycle processes. This hybrid role includes office presence in Irving, TX or Chicago, IL.

Competenze

• 10+ years progressive experience in strategic sourcing, contracting, supplier negotiations, supply chain, client engagement, or healthcare-related contracting.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience, including leading teams and coaching leaders.
• Demonstrated success leading sourcing strategy, contract planning, supplier negotiations, and custom agreement portfolio development.
• Strong understanding of contracting processes, contract language, compliance, and value tracking.
• Advanced financial, analytical, problem-solving, executive communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience developing processes, training materials, operating rhythms, tools, governance, or systems.
• People Leader Skills - Advanced: lead performance through multiple leaders and significant change.
• AI Fluency - Advanced: integrating AI into business strategy and operations.

Mansioni

• Lead the development and execution of custom client sourcing and contracting strategies that reduce spend and improve operational efficiency.
• Oversee the full sourcing lifecycle including opportunity assessment, contract planning, RFP strategy, supplier engagement and negotiations.
• Develop customized contract portfolios that meet customer needs and create measurable savings and value opportunities.
• Serve as an escalation point for complex contract structures and cross-functional issue resolution.
• Partner with client executives and internal stakeholders to understand needs and track program success.
• Collaborate with Legal, Analytics, Sales/Client Executives and Operations to ensure compliant contract execution.
