Cencora in Louisville, KY, is seeking a Specialty Pharmacist Navigator to partner with physicians and practices using specialty medications for prescribing, training, and patient support. This hybrid role emphasizes remote work with Louisville/Manchester coverage.

The ideal candidate holds a PharmD, current license, and 5+ years in pharmacy with specialty/PA experience; strong communication and data skills are essential to optimize patient access and outcomes.

Formación

• PharmD degree strongly preferred.
• Current unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of practice.
• 5+ years in community/retail/ambulatory pharmacy or health-system; specialty/pharmacy PA experience desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Identify physician practices for specialty Rx value and initiate contact.
• Arrange meetings with key stakeholders and decision makers.
• Demonstrate value of ambulatory pharmacy partnerships to practices.
• Ensure prescriptions flow to ambulatory pharmacy and are tracked.
• Create patient profiles including payors and clinical data.
• Process prescriptions including insurance adjudication and sourcing.
• Prepare and submit prior authorization paperwork and manage denials.
• Triage limited distribution or out-of-network prescriptions.
• Coordinate pickup/courier delivery with auditable proof of delivery.
• Follow up with patients for refills and address ADRs or clinical questions.
• Document patient updates in EMR and inform physician offices.
• Maintain relationships with physician offices through regular visits.
