Job summary

Sunrun is seeking a Hybrid Field Technician to support solar installation from survey to final inspections. You will collect site data, assess roof and electrical systems, and coordinate with teams to ensure a smooth inspection process.

The role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy field work and problem solving. Responsibilities include using mobile tools, documenting findings, and scheduling inspections with AHJ and customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• PV design, PV installation or PV electrical experience preferred (1+ year).
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
• Comfortable with ladders and roof work; basic electrical knowledge helpful.

Responsibilities

• Visit customer homes to collect measurements, photos, and data for solar design.
• Assess roof conditions and electrical service panels.
• Climb ladders and inspect attics as needed.
• Submit survey data using mobile tools.
• Perform post-install inspections and ensure readiness for inspections.
