Job summary

Invenergy LLC in Chicago, IL, seeks a Manager, Renewable Engineering (Solar) to lead a regional engineering team for utility-scale solar projects across the United States. You will collaborate with Origination, Development, and Project teams to design, assess energy, and manage risk through development and construction.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering, 5+ years of experience, up to 25% travel, and US work eligibility. Hybrid schedule; base pay $135,000–$165,000 with 25–40% bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; 5+ years of engineering experience.
• Willing to travel up to 25% domestically.
• US work authorization now or in the future.
• Master's degree preferred; experience leading an engineering group.

Responsibilities

• Lead a regional solar project engineering team with focus on design, energy assessment, risk analysis.
• Support development, engineering and construction of utility-scale solar projects.
• Collaborate with Development, Origination, Pre-Construction, Project Management, Procurement, Environmental, Legal, Regulatory teams.
• Represent Invenergy LLC with customers, officials and industry groups.
