Job summary

Repsol SA seeks a Project Engineer in Downtown Houston, TX, offering a hybrid work model (3 days in office, 2 days remote). You will act as the primary technical liaison among Repsol, vendors, and the internal project team, coordinating engineering deliverables across the full project lifecycle.

The role requires 5+ years in large-scale Solar, Wind, and BESS projects, with knowledge of NEC/NESC/IEEE standards and experience in design reviews, RFPs, and field commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred).
• Minimum 5 years in development and execution of large-scale Solar, Wind and BESS projects.
• Knowledge of NEC, NESC, NFPA, API, NEMA, IEEE/ANSI standards.
• Experience with renewable energy project interfaces and cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary technical liaison among Repsol, vendors, and internal project team.
• Oversee engineering deliverables across full project lifecycle and interfaces.
• Support RFP development, bid evaluations, and technical negotiations.
• Coordinate design reviews and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Facilitate constructability reviews, field issues, and commissioning activities.
• Manage documentation, change control, and lessons learned for future projects.
