Job summary

Lightsource bp seeks a Senior Asset Manager to oversee the financial and operational performance of a portfolio of utility-scale solar assets. This senior IC role requires independent management of complex assets, financial structures, and stakeholder relationships.

You will drive asset performance, ensure contractual compliance, optimize revenue, and support refinancing, portfolio optimization, and potential M&A diligence within a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of experience in renewable energy asset management or related fields.
• Experience managing utility-scale renewable energy assets (solar or storage).
• Experience with lenders, tax equity investors, and utilities.
• Ability to manage complex commercial relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own the financial performance and P&L of a portfolio of utility-scale solar projects.
• Track revenue, operating expenses, and budget performance through variance analysis and forecasting.
• Manage relationships with tax equity investors, lenders, and financial stakeholders.
• Monitor debt compliance, liquidity forecasts, and reserve account requirements.
• Prepare financial and operational reports for leadership, lenders, and investors.
• Support strategic initiatives such as refinancing, portfolio optimization, and M&A diligence.
