Job summary

Boston Scientific is seeking a Software Test Engineer Co-op in the Waltham, MA area. You will develop and execute test cases for a range of software components, including UI, algorithms, and back-end data handling, in an Agile environment.

The role requires coursework in CS/Biomed Eng/Physics, strong Python or MATLAB skills, and the ability to work on-site in a hybrid model (3–4 days per week). Relocation assistance may be available; sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in computer science, biomedical engineering or physics.
• Available for full duration of the co-op program (Jan 11–Aug 6 or Aug 13, 2027).
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Use problem-solving skills to perform meaningful engineering work.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team to support product quality.
• Design, develop and execute test cases to validate system functionality in electrophysiology domain.
• Manually execute tests and run automated test scripts.
• Document test results and prepare test reports.
• Record and track defects using a bug-tracking system.
