Job summary

Boston Scientific is seeking a Software Test Engineer Co‑op to join our quality team in a collaborative, Agile environment. You will develop and execute test cases for software components including UI, algorithms and back‑end data handling, with opportunities to contribute to test automation using Python, MATLAB or C++.

The role requires presence in the local office most weeks as part of a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor\'s or graduate degree in CS, BME, or Physics with expected graduation in fall/winter 2027 or spring 2030.
Available to participate for the full duration of the co‑op program from May 17th or May 24th – December 17th, 2027.
Eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization.
Have reliable transportation to and from 309 Waverley Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452. Boston Scientific does not provide transportation or transportation support to and from its locations.
Proficient in Python or MATLAB.

Responsibilities

Use problem-solving skills to perform meaningful engineering work.
Collaborate with a cross-functional team to support product quality.
Design, develop and execute test cases to ensure product quality by validating system functionality and verifying that business and user requirements are met within the electrophysiology domain.
Manually execute tests and run automated test scripts.
Ensure testing is conducted according to written procedures.
Document test results and prepare test reports.
Record and track defects using a bug-tracking system.
