Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems in Moorestown, NJ is seeking a Software Engineer to develop real-time embedded software for Advanced Launchers and Mk 41 VLS programs. You will join a collaborative team delivering mission-critical software for U.S. Navy systems and allies, with a hybrid telework schedule.

The role covers the full SDLC: design, development, integration, testing, and documentation. Candidates should have 2+ years in software, C++ on Linux, Git, and an ability to obtain

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline with applicable coursework and at least 2 years professional experience.
• Proficiency with C++ in Linux environment is required.
• Experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Git is expected.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, design, develop, integrate, test, debug, and document software.
• Apply object-oriented programming and software engineering principles to solve complex problems.
• Develop and implement solutions across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Support software integration, verification, and test activities.
• Apply software configuration management practices and ensure engineering standards are met.
• Independently determine technical approaches and develop solutions to challenging software problems.
• Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver reliable, high-quality capabilities.
