Job summary

Lyft Inc. seeks a software professional to design, build, and integrate the platform powering ride experience. You will assist in roadmaps and architecture aligned with rapid technology and business needs.

You will help improve microservices, enhance API quality and performance, and participate in testing, validation, and documentation to support reliable software delivery. The role involves debugging across multiple applications, managing priorities, and ensuring timely deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6 months of experience in software development.
• At least 6 months of experience with object-oriented programming, machine learning, and AI.
• At least 6 months of experience with web technologies, DynamoDB, and one of C, C++, Java, Go, or Python.
• Experience with frontend and backend languages, relational databases, and schema design.
• Experience with data structures or algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Help design, build, and integrate the platform powering ride experience.
• Assist with designing roadmaps and architecture based on technology and business needs.
• Improve and implement new microservices; monitor APIs.
• Develop and direct software testing, validation, programming, and documentation.
• Identify, triage, debug, and resolve issues across applications and platforms.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
