Job summary

Lyft Inc. seeks a software professional to design, build, and integrate the platform powering ride experience. You will assist in roadmaps and architecture aligned with rapid technology and business needs.

You will help improve microservices, enhance API quality and performance, and participate in testing, validation, and documentation to support reliable software delivery. The role involves debugging across multiple applications, managing priorities, and ensuring timely deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6 months of experience in software development.
• At least 6 months of experience with object-oriented programming, machine learning, and AI.
• At least 6 months of experience with web technologies, DynamoDB, and one of C, C++, Java, Go, or Python.
• Experience with frontend and backend languages, relational databases, and schema design.
• Experience with data structures or algorithms.

• Participate in identifying, triaging, debugging, and resolving issues and bugs acrossthe company's various applications and platforms.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6 months of experience in job offered, software development, or related occupation.
• At least 6 months of experience with object-oriented programming, machine learning, and AI.
• At least 6 months of experience with web technologies, DynamoDB, and at least one of the following: C, C++, Java, Go, or Python.
• Experience with frontend and backend languages, relational databases, and schema design.
• Experience with data structures or algorithms.

The expected base pay range for this position in the San Francisco area is $136,000 - $162,000/year. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
