Job summary

ModivCare Solutions LLC in Denver, CO is seeking a Software Engineer III to design, develop, and maintain enterprise software solutions. You will collaborate with architects, participate in design discussions, and contribute to the full software development lifecycle.

You'll mentor junior engineers, support release management, and work in a hybrid environment within the Denver area, contributing to scalable, HIPAA-compliant systems and data integration efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/MIS or related field plus 5 years of experience.
• Enterprise relational databases: MS SQL Server, Oracle, or DB2.
• SOA design with SOAP/REST APIs; strong source control experience.
• Release management, CI/CD, and test-driven development mastery.
• EDI interfaces, HIPAA-compliant transactions, and EDI tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications supporting enterprise needs.
• Lead design discussions and document functional/technical specs.
• Execute full SDLC: coding, testing, debugging, and QA collaboration.
• Manage releases, version control, and CI/CD coordination with IT.
• Mentor junior engineers and present demos to leadership.
