Job summary

Globalpayer is seeking a Software Engineer II to help shape the future of global commerce from our Cincinnati hybrid office. You will join the Portal team and contribute to delivering scalable web applications in a fast-paced payments environment.

You will design, develop, test, and maintain features across front-end and back-end layers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure security and reliability in production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong front-end skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and modern frameworks (Angular, React, or Ionic).
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices with Java/Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with Agile/SAFe, Scrum, CI/CD, TDD/BDD.
• Proficient in Git, GitHub, and DevOps tools.

Responsibilities

• Drive delivery of new features and product enhancements.
• Design and maintain scalable, responsive web applications across devices.
• Collaborate with Product, Development, QA, and cross-functional teams.
• Adhere to SDLC, coding standards, security requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, test, production.
• Leverage CI/CD, automation, and AI-assisted development practices.
• Provide technical leadership through solution design and release coordination.
