Viasat is seeking an Early Career Software Engineer to help design and implement software for satellite ground and mobility systems. You will work on cloud infrastructure, scalable features, and API-driven services, with a focus on CI/CD and collaboration across a diverse team.

The role is site-based in the United States with relocation assistance and a Graduate Development Program to support your transition from university to professional life in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 0-3 years of full-time, relevant industry experience.
• Proficiency coding in Python.
• Experience developing software in a Linux environment.

Responsibilities

• Integrating innovative software features.
• Automating interactions with software test components to support CI/CD.
• Contributing in software feature and architecture design.
• Debugging scale, bugs, networking, and distributed state issues.
• Working closely with team members and participating in code review feedback.
• Collaborating with partners to design custom solutions DevOps and internal customer support.
• Building robust API-driven software systems and tools with AI.
• Designing and implementing software solutions for Viasat’s lab orchestration platform.
