Job summary
Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions is seeking a Software Developer I for our Corporate IT team, based in Canton, MA with hybrid schedule options across multiple offices (Canton, MA; Boston, MA; Farmington, CT or Raleigh, NC). You will work with stakeholders, product owners, and agile team members to design, build and test software solutions that align with business requirements.
Required are a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 1–3 years of experience; Property Casualty
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required.
- 1–3 years of related experience preferred.
- Experience in Property Casualty or Specialty Insurance is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product owners and agile team members to understand business requirements.
- Participate in analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation of software solutions.
- Follow company standards, policies, and agile processes in a dynamic environment.
- Translate user stories into programmable solutions and communicate progress with the team.
- Complete tasks in a timely manner and contribute to SDLC activities.
