Job summary
Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions seeks a Product Development Specialist to join our North American Specialty Underwriting team on a hybrid schedule from a U.S. office.
You will coordinate complex commercial lines product development projects and maintain data integrity for the company. You will serve as the senior technical expert in product development and regulatory matters, developing and amending forms, rules and rating methodologies, and advising leadership across underwriting,
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of increasing experience in insurance functions.
- Actuarial exams, RPLU, CPCU, and advanced legal degrees preferred.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates complex commercial lines product development projects and maintains data integrity for the company.
- Develops complex products for commercial lines including forms, rules and rating structures.
- Researches concepts, analyzes data, and develops contract language and rating methodologies.
- Reviews state statutes, regulations and other requirements to ensure products are compliant; drafts responses to inquiries.
- Assembles project plans, monitors progress, and coordinates filings with state authorities.
- Trains new team members and provides guidance to other business areas.
