Job summary

Everforth ECS is seeking a Software Developer to work onsite at the US Postal Service's Maintenance and Technical Support Service Center (MTSC) in Norman, OK. This role can be authorized for a hybrid schedule with four days onsite and one day WFH, within an Agile environment.

You will analyze, design, develop, test, and document enterprise web applications using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, and Ajax, with Oracle databases.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain Public Trust Clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of experience in the field or related area.
• Hands-on proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, and Ajax.
• Strong knowledge of OOP, architectural patterns, and secure enterprise software design.
• Experience writing and optimizing queries for relational databases, including Oracle.
• Ability to translate requirements into sophisticated, intuitive web UI.
• Autonomous in Agile/Scrum delivery and able to lead sprint execution.
• Experience with source code repos and modern version control (Git/SVN).
• Certifications or advanced background in automated testing, CI/CD, or DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and modify programming systems, including testing, debugging, and documentation of software applications.
• Analyze and modify enterprise programming systems, ensuring testing, debugging, and thorough documentation of architecture.
• Design, build, optimize, and maintain complex responsive web applications using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Ajax.
• Develop secure, performant web apps with relational databases, focusing on Oracle environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum framework to scope and deliver features.
• Architect program logic, UI layouts, and testing frameworks to drive modernization.
• Perform proactive code reviews, maintenance, and evaluations to optimize performance and resolve blocks.
• Create test scenarios and drive automated or functional testing; document outcomes.
• Author and update documentation, workflows, and operating procedures for broad portfolios.
