Job summary

Tokio Marine North America Services (TMNAS) seeks a software-focused professional to participate in configuring, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications. You will work through design, testing, debugging and deployment, closely collaborating with architects, QA, and business analysts.

Ideal candidates have a CS/MIS/Software Eng background with up to 2 years of experience, strong communication, and familiarity with SDLC, DevOps, and documentation practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, MIS, or Software Engineering or equivalent experience preferred.
• 0-2 years’ experience preferred.
• Knowledge of scripting languages and tools for creating event-driven webpages.
• Knowledge of tools and programming languages for writing and modifying programs that comprise an application system.
• Knowledge of tools and facilities for developing and populating application databases.
• Knowledge of source code repositories.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access).
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Unit testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of deployment automation tools and DevOps practices is a plus.
• Knowledge of SDLC and software support and maintenance approaches like Scrum and Waterfall.
• Knowledge of documentation design and development guidelines, standards, procedures.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the configuration, development, and maintenance of enterprise contents including documents, letters and forms.
• Configures, tests, debugs, and implements application systems.
• Supports QA and UAT across environments and coordinates deployments.
• Maintains SDLC artifacts and follows change and release processes.
• Assists junior team members and collaborates with architects and analysts.
