Cambia Health Solutions, Inc. in Salt Lake City is seeking an Underwriter I–III for a hybrid role (3 days in office). You will support small and large group pricing across multiple offices and may relocate if needed.

You will evaluate eligibility and risk, assign rates, verify employer participation, and maintain underwriting documentation. The role involves collaboration with Sales, Claims, and actuarial partners to deliver accurate, compliant pricing and a positive member experience.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in business, math, statistics, or related field.
• Underwriter II requires 3+ years of related experience.
• Underwriter III requires 5+ years of related experience.

Aufgaben

• Follow underwriting guidelines to develop and assign rates for new and renewal groups, including complex funding arrangements.
• Verify employer eligibility to purchase and renew group products.
• Audit new and renewing groups to ensure underwriting compliance.
• Maintain complete and accurate underwriting documentation.
• Approve renewal changes after verifying rates and product selection.
• Maintain renewal history spreadsheets and data integrity.
• Use applications to support rating and underwriting processes (e.g., StepWise, Salesforce).
• Understand and apply State and Federal regulations affecting group rating.
