Cambia Health Solutions, Inc. is seeking qualified Underwriters I–III for a hybrid role with in-office work three days a week across Salt Lake City, Boise, Portland, and other listed offices.

The role focuses on evaluating group eligibility and risk to set appropriate rates for new and renewal groups. The team values analytical thinking, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while leveraging Excel, Salesforce, and other systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, math, statistics, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Underwriter II requires 3+ years of related experience; Underwriter III requires 5+ years of related experience.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills; strong communication and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Follow underwriting guidelines to develop and assign rates for new and renewal groups.
• Verify employer eligibility for group products and ensure minimum participation.
• Audit and ensure compliance with underwriting and legislative guidelines.
• Prepare memos and communicate changes in rates or benefits.
• Maintain records in underwriting systems.
• Utilize StepWise, Salesforce, and claims systems in rating workflows.
