Job summary

SynapseTBI - Traumatic Brain Injury Testing & Rehab in Houston, TX seeks a compassionate Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) for a hybrid role combining in‑clinic care with community‑based services. The ideal candidate has a Master’s in Speech‑Language Pathology, Texas SLP licensure, and experience with neuro‑concussion/TBI populations, with strong documentation and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred.
• Experience with neurological, cognitive, concussion, or TBI populations preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
• Clinic and community‑based settings experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech-language and cognitive‑communication evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Provide therapy services to patients recovering from traumatic brain injuries and other neurological conditions.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and care plans accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, strategies, and progress.
• Participate in case conferences and treatment planning discussions.
• Travel locally as needed to support patient care and community‑based services.
• Maintain compliance with all clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards.
