Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required.
• Current Texas Speech-Language Pathology License or license eligible required.
• Experience in acute or post-acute rehabilitation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations to identify communication and cognitive issues and determine severity.
• Maintain accurate records and reports; communicate with patients, families, insurers, and therapists.
• Instruct and supervise clinic aides and students; ensure daily treatment plans are completed.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient, including cognitive and language therapies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team; participate in meetings to develop individualized treatment strategies.
