Job summary

Centre for Neuro Skills in Plano, TX is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver comprehensive evaluations and therapies for individuals with brain injuries, aiming to improve communication, independence, and quality of life.

You will conduct patient evaluations, create treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. A Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and Texas license (or eligibility) are required, with acute/post-acute rehab experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required.
• Texas licensure or eligibility to practice.
• Experience in acute or post-acute rehabilitation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations to identify communication and cognitive issues.
• Maintain accurate records and reports; communicate with patients, families, and other therapists.
• Instruct and supervise clinic aides and students; ensure daily treatment plans.
• Implement diverse therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in team meetings.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and mentorship opportunities.
